Serving women as they build their families has to be the best job in the whole world!  Making personal touch a vital part of healthcare is such a privilege.

I am Inga Arts, LM, CPM.  I'm married to a very supportive husband who has helped see my dream of a birthing center become a reality. We have four wonderful children, all who have been born at home with midwives.  I have been involved with birth since 1988.  I have been caring for my own clients since 1997 when I started Dayspring.

In 2004 we were blessed with an old farm home to be transformed into a beautiful birthing center. Since then God has put together a great team of women who love to serve and care for women. I couldn't do all that I do without them!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and your wisdom in considering an out of hospital birth! My Name is Carrie Blake and I joined the Dayspring team in January of 2009.

Prior to coming to Dayspring, I had my own home birth midwifery practice in Colorado from 2006 - 2009. I've attended births in Colorado, Ohio, West Africa and now Idaho. My study of midwifery began in 2002 after much prayer regarding what God's plan was for my career.

Along the journey to completing the NARM Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) credential, which I received in 2007, I became a DONA trained doula and a CAPPA childbirth educator. I am currently a Registered Midwife in Colorado and a Licensed Midwife in Idaho.

I look forward to meeting you and serving your family during your childbearing years!

Women are wonderful and beautiful creations of God.  They make an invaluable contribution to mankind by bringing forth new life.  What a truly incredible, challenging and rewarding journey they experience as they help create, grow, birth, nourish and nurture another human soul.  I delight in helping women with this process.

My name is Susie Q.  I am a R.N. with experience working in Labor and Delivery and OB/GYN clinic.  I also am a certified midwife through the Utah School of Midwifery, currently Midwives College of Utah.  Two of my children were born at home under the care of midwives during this training.

I am the Clinical Director at Dayspring as well as one of the massage therapists.  I wear many hats and help to keep the show rolling.   I look forward to serving you.

I’ve been blessed to work for God and this wonderful group of women. Seeing the beautiful moms and precious babies and being able to make your visits comfortable, brings joy to my heart.

My name is Sherri. I’m the receptionist at Dayspring. This is a new chapter in my life, as I have worked in the banking industry most of my career. I was looking for a new path and to my delight the Lord opened the door and lead me to Dayspring and the women here. I will be forever touched by the miracle of God’s love, as I see the smiles on the new moms faces and the love they have for their new little ones.  I look forward to meeting you and servicing your needs.

Lindsay is a Student Midwife coming to Dayspring from Calgary, Alberta for a year placement which began in August, 2011. Most of the time she is on-call and in clinic from the 1st to the 15th of every month, and usually returns to Canada to be with her family for the remainder of every month.

This is Lindsay’s first clinical placement as part of her Master’s of Midwifery through the Midwives’ College of Utah. Prior to coming to Dayspring, Lindsay worked as a Birth Doula with Calgary Childbirth Education and Doula association, attending mostly hospital births. She is happy to be helping mommas and babies achieve out of hospital births, and loves attending clinic in such a relaxed atmosphere such as the Birth Center.

Prior to pursuing midwifery, Lindsay completed an Undergraduate degree in Speech Sciences from the University of British Columbia in 2006. Afterwards, she worked for Alberta Health Services as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, carrying out therapy goals with children in pre-school, elementary, and middle school. Lindsay was called to midwifery in 2009, after finishing her pre-med classes she felt a dissonance with the state of the current medical system, and longed for a different way of caring for women through the childbearing years.
